Additional Documentation

What kinds of additional documents should I add?

Additional documents strengthen your application by providing evidence of your work, organizational capacity, and community support. They are not required, and you should not create anything new for this application.

However, if you already have them on file, it can be helpful to include some of the following:

Evidence of past work:

  • Photos showing previous projects

  • Brief report from past regeneration work

  • Letters of support from community members

  • Testimonials from partners or beneficiaries

Organizational documents:

  • Nonprofit registration certificate

  • Mission statement or bylaws

  • Recent financial statement (doesn't need to be audited)

Technical plans (if you have them):

  • Site maps or property boundaries

  • Planting plans or restoration design

  • Budget breakdown

  • Species list with sources

Format:

  • PDF, Word (.doc, .docx), CSV, Excel (.xls, .xlsx), JPEG, PNG, WEBP, .json, etc.

  • Images are also acceptable

  • Keep individual files under 10MB

  • Name files clearly: "Land_Agreement_2024.pdf" not "document_final_v3.pdf"
